  1. you could test this by having a conversation on the same topic with a variety of men and seeing if Peter Stockwell's theory is valid with your target audience. You could then comment on the similarities and differences you found in your research compared to Stockwell's

  2. You could test this by analysing the responses of participants to questions of different lengths, you could then compare similarities and differences compared to the reaserchers results

  3. You could set up a really controversial idea for a group to discuss and look at how different participants got their point across and did they use those techniques or others. Interesting area. Read widely.
